Suspension Service and Repair
Welcome to Parkway Car Care, Rowlett’s premier auto repair shop. Suspension service and repair is one of the broad range of services and repairs we offer at our Rowlett auto repair and tire shop.
Being a full-service auto repair shop, we can offer a wide range of Rowlett suspension services and repairs, including, but not limited to: shocks and struts replacement, wheel alignment, inner and outer tie rods, CV boot or CV joint replacement, suspension bushings, ball joints, suspension arms, torsion bars, axle replacement—if your vehicle needs suspension work, we can help.
Suspension service in Rowlett is a necessity. Roads in the Bay Area are full of potholes. Many cities experience ongoing road construction, with city streets dug up, with steel plates and temporary asphalt patches everywhere—if you’ve ever driven over a steel plate that had not been set flush with the road (and most are not), you know how much stress is placed on your car’s suspension.
Suspension components wear out. It’s a fact of life. So as your car ages, shocks or struts replacement will become a necessity. Moreover, ball joints will wear out, CV boots may get torn, tie rods may need replacement, and suspension springs, control arms, and anti-sway bars—all suspension components form an intricate web of parts that work together—move, shift, and adjust to provide your vehicle with a smooth and safe ride. This constant motion combined with age will necessitate repairs.
Developing suspension problems are often not easy to spot. Improved suspension designs and high parts quality result in modern suspensions that deteriorate gradually, so we don’t feel sudden changes in ride quality. That’s why at Parkway Car Care we perform a complimentary digital vehicle inspection with every service or repair. Part of the inspection is to check various suspension components for damage and signs of wear.
So if you think your vehicle may have suspension issues, bring your vehicle to our Rowlett auto repair shop—our nationally ASE certified technicians will professionally diagnose suspension problems, and we will provide you with an electronic copy of the inspection results. Once you have all the facts, we can assist you in selecting the best course of action for your vehicle.
When you visit Parkway Car Care, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and can expect:

So how do you know your car has suspension issues?
Do not delay, as suspension issues impact not only ride quality but can impact safety as well. Any of the symptoms listed below can be a clue that the suspension needs to be checked by a professional:
- Vehicle pulls to one side when driving
- Wheel vibration
- Screeching or screaming noises when steering at low speeds
- After the car has gone over a bump, the steering wheel slips, making it difficult to steer
- Bumpy or rough ride—often we don’t notice this until after the suspension has been repaired; only then do we realize how much smoother the ride has become
The above symptoms are clues that the suspension may need work, but it takes a professional mechanic to figure out which of the many suspension components is at fault.
So if you suspect suspension problems, bring your vehicle to our Rowlett auto repair shop. After our technicians inspect the suspension, we will provide you with an electronic copy of the inspection results, including pictures of damaged or broken components (if any).
